How to Renew Your Prescription
You do not need to call your doctor’s office to request a prescription renewal — you can submit a request in MyChart.
To renew a prescription, log in to your MyChart account and select “Medications” under "My Record" in the main navigation menu. You will see a list of your current medications. Click “Request Renewal” under the appropriate medication and follow the instructions to submit your request.
If you don't have a MyChart account, you can sign up online.
Prescription Renewals FAQs
Your renewal request will be processed within three business days. If you need the medication sooner, please call your provider's office.
If you need to update your list of pharmacies, go to “Manage My Pharmacies” on the Medications page.
You can get free home delivery of your medications from the UVM Health Home Delivery Pharmacy.
