Helping You Get the Care You Need
The Health Assistance Program (HAP) at University of Vermont Health is here to help eligible low- and middle income UVM Health patients cover prescription copays.
HAP Benefits
If you qualify for HAP, the program can support you in the following ways:
- Prescription copays will be covered for patients with a qualifying household income. Annual coverage can save up to $5,000 on retail prescriptions and $7,500 on specialty prescriptions.
- Medications can be picked up at a UVM Health pharmacy or conveniently mailed to your home.

If you are experiencing financial challenges or are unable to pay your health care bill in full, we’re here to help. UVM Health offers a range of financial assistance options so you can continue to access the care you need, when and where you need it.
