We are dedicated to training the next generation of health care professionals. As a health system anchored by an academic medical center, education is a cornerstone of our mission.

Fueling Better Care for Patients

Continuous learning is a way of life for providers and employees across University of Vermont Health. As teachers, researchers, nurses and clinicians, we stay up to date on the latest developments in our fields and bring that knowledge to our students, patients and communities.

Our Graduate Medical Education programs allow residents at the Larner College of Medicine and the College of Nursing and Health Sciences at University of Vermont to learn from our highly respected practitioners and receive on-the-job training, caring for our patients through a variety of high-quality programs and partnerships across our health system.

For our current employees and those looking to begin their health care career, we provide training opportunities and Workforce Development programs to deepen your education — while earning a paycheck.
