Medical Records & Test Results FAQs

How do I find my test results in MyChart?

You will receive an email notification or MyChart app alert when new test results are available. Log into your MyChart account and select “Test Results” in the top navigation bar to see a list of your results.

When can I see my test results in MyChart?

With very few exceptions, all test results are posted to your MyChart account as soon as they are available. This means you will likely see your results before your care team is able to review them.

If you have questions about your results, please contact the provider who ordered your test by calling or sending a secure message.

Why are certain test results not shared electronically via MyChart?

In very rare cases, results may need to be withheld until a provider can review a note or pending a review from a cosigning provider. Talk to your provider about how you would like to receive and review test results.

How do I access my After Visit Summary and visit notes?

You will receive an email notification or MyChart app alert when your After Visit Summary, patient instructions and visit notes are available. To view After Visit Summaries and notes from past appointments, sign in to your MyChart account and click on "Visits” in the top navigation bar. In the “Past Appointments” section, you will see links to “After Visit Summaries” and notes below each appointment date.

How do I download my medical records from MyChart?

MyChart allows you to view most of your medical record, including ongoing medical issues, lab results, medications, allergies, immunizations, visit notes and more.

Use the Medical Record Request form to request your medical records from our Health Information Management department (HIM). You can also access a downloadable copy of your Lucy Summary, which details your allergies, medications, current health issues, test results, and more.

HIM will receive a message with your request, process it and post the information under the Retrieve Records section of the Document Center. You will receive an email notification when your records are available.

If some of my health information on MyChart is incorrect, what should I do?

Your health information in MyChart, including current medical issues, medications, allergies and immunizations, comes directly from your electronic health record at your provider’s office. Ask your provider to correct any inaccurate information at your next appointment. Your health information is reviewed and updated in your electronic health record after each visit.

How do I request my Radiology images?

Use the Radiology Image Record Request form to request your imaging records.

When your request has been completed and ready for review, you will receive an email from Nuance Powershare with instructions on how to create an account. Additionally, you will receive a MyChart message containing your token code to access your images.

*Please note, we no longer provide imaging records on CD or DVD.
