Patient and Family Advocacy Services at UVM Health
At University of Vermont Health, we strive to provide the best possible care experience. Sometimes we exceed your expectations, and sometimes we fall short. Whether you have a compliment, or a concern, we want to hear from you. Your voice matters!
Why Choose Patient Advocacy?
Patient advocates help bridge the gap between you, your family and your care team. We are here to ensure that your concerns are addressed, and your care is safe, respectful and compassionate. Our patient advocates are available to:
- Listen to your story
- Help you talk with your care team
- Explain your rights and responsibilities
- Connect you to helpful resources
- Work with you to resolve concerns about care or service
- Conduct confidential conversations about your care
- Report discriminatory behavior
