Directions
UVM Medical Center Main Campus is located at 111 Colchester Avenue in Burlington, Vermont. Visit Google Maps to view detailed directions from your location.
Parking
UVM Medical Center's patient and visitor parking garage is located next to the hospital’s main entrance. Access to the hospital and outpatient services is available on each level of the garage.
A drop-off area is located at the main entrance. Curbside assistance is available to patients who need help getting in and out of their vehicles.
Valet parking is available and is free to those with a handicapped placard.
Emergency Department (ED) parking is located in front of the ED entrance on Colchester Avenue. Please note, only ED patients and visitors may park in the ED lot, all others may be towed.

We accept cash or credit card.
- 0 – 1 hours: Free
- 1 – 2 hours: $2.50
- 2 – 3 hours: $3.75
- 3 – 4 hours: $5.00
- 4 – 5 hours: $6.25
- 5+ hours: $7.00
Free re-entry to the garage is not permitted.
Discounted Parking Coupon Books
Parking coupon books are available for frequent visitors. Each book contains 10 coupons.
- All day coupon books cost $35.00 (half price), or $3.50 per day of parking
- 2-hour coupon books cost $12.50 (half price), or $1.25 for two hours of parking
- 3-hour coupon books cost $20.00, or $2.00 for three hours of parking
Patients and visitors with financial difficulties can speak with the lobby attendant at the main entrance or contact the Security Department at 802-847-2812 for assistance.
Handicapped Parking
Patients and visitors who display a valid state handicapped parking permit or license plate may park for free in the parking garage or use valet parking at no charge.

Valet parking is offered at the main entrance Monday–Friday, 6 am–5 pm, for $8 per car. For help after 9 pm, contact the Security Department at 802-847-2812. Valet parking is free to those with a handicapped placard.

Shuttle Service
UVM Medical Center has partnered with Special Services Transportation Agency (SSTA) to provide free, reliable and accessible shuttle service to our locations and other health care practices on Tilley Drive and Hinesburg Road. The shuttle is available Monday–Friday from 7:30 am to 4:25 pm. A full schedule can be found below.
If you would like to take advantage of this free fixed-route service, you can board the lift-equipped and fully accessible shuttle at Green Mountain Transit’s Downtown Transit Center in Burlington to access:

- UVM Medical Center Comprehensive Pain Program, 118 Tilley Drive
