Our Services

We offer a broad spectrum of cardiovascular services, including cardiology testing and cardiac rehabilitation.

Cardiology Testing

Our practice performs advanced cardiology testing, close to home. The expert cardiologists, nurse practitioners and specialized technicians at Central Vermont Medical Center use the latest heart tests and equipment to give you and your doctor a better understanding of how your heart is functioning and the best way to treat your heart condition.

Inpatients: If you are a patient in the hospital, physicians may request that your cardiology test be done before you are discharged home. Arrangements for testing will be made between the nursing staff and the cardiology staff.

Outpatients: If your test is to be performed on an outpatient basis, the physician's office staff will set up an appointment date and time for you to come in to have the test performed. All cardiology tests require a written physician's order prior to the test.

Cardiac Rehabilitation

Cardiac rehabilitation is a program offered at Central Vermont Medical Center to help patients continue their recovery from heart attack, heart surgery or coronary artery stenting. We serve approximately 170 patients per year.

This six-to-12-week outpatient program provides monitored, progressive aerobic exercise and education.
