Longitudinal experiences include gynecology clinic and newborn rounds. As a resident, you will round at CVPH on the patients you follow at the Family Medicine Center, allowing for continuity of care and deeper clinical relationships. You will deliver babies, perform procedures, and practice alongside experienced family physicians.
You’ll gain hands-on experience with office-based procedures such as:
- Skin biopsies
- Joint injections and aspirations
- Gynecologic procedures (IUD placement, Nexplanon insertion, endometrial biopsy)
Our sports medicine curriculum includes:
- Monthly didactics
- Musculoskeletal and injection workshops
- Sideline sports coverage
- Two dedicated block rotations in orthopedics and sports medicine
We offer excellent training in obstetrics, and we’re proud that our Family Medicine physician faculty actively practice and teach OB.
