Outcomes & Goals

Outcomes

Our agreement with SUNY Empire allows our graduates to earn a certificate of completion (diploma) from Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital's School of Radiologic Technology and at least an associate’s degree from SUNY Empire. This allows our graduates to take the Registry Exam through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Liberal art studies by SUNY Empire are usually completed online. The 40 college credits awarded to the School of Radiologic Technology are combined with the 24 liberal arts credits completed during the two-year program to assure a minimum of an Associate Degree in Science. The registered areas are science, math and technology (Radiologic) and are in addition to a Radiology School diploma. Prior earned credits may transfer to SUNY Empire to work toward a higher degree. Every enrolled student must take a least 24 credits with SUNY Empire during the 24 months enrolled, regardless of prior education. The cost of the 24 credits through SUNY Empire are included in the School of Radiologic Technology tuition.
