At The University of Vermont Medical Center, we have a strong track record for delivering high-value care — meaning care that is high-quality and low-cost for our patients and accessible no matter where they are. The University of Vermont Health Network

The University of Vermont Health Network is the parent organization of the UVM Medical Center, Central Vermont Medical Center (CVMC), Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital Medical Center (CVPH), and Elizabethtown Community Hospital (ECH); Porter Community Hospital, the UVM Health Network Home Health and Hospice, and the UVM Health Network Medical Group.

• Patients at our health care partners receive diagnostic and follow-up care from The UVM Medical Center specialists close to their homes.
• The UVM Medical Center provides the opportunity to care for populations in rural areas with a unique set of healthcare needs — an important element in our organization's vision of developing an integrated delivery system which provides high-value health care to the communities we serve and enhances our academic mission.
• Our health care partners access to the resources of our university hospital: cutting-edge therapies and technologies, specialists with advanced, research-based expertise, and a body of scientific knowledge that continues to grow and expand with every new discovery.

Through these relationships, we manage an extensive regional network of services, including regular outreach clinics provided by The UVM Medical Center specialists, continuing medical education workshops, eHealth services and the ongoing exchange of clinical information and best practices.
