About Our Location
At University of Vermont Health - UVM Medical Center, we provide comprehensive psychological services to people with all mental health conditions.
Psychology’s primary treatment method is psychotherapy, also called talk therapy. If your provider determines that medication could bolster your care, we consult with psychiatrists (medical doctors who can prescribe medication).
Our Services
We offer outpatient psychotherapy and neuropsychological services.
- Outpatient Psychotherapy: We provide evaluation and counseling for conditions like anxiety, chronic pain, eating disorders, gender-related concerns and more.
- Neuropsychological Services: Neuropsychological evaluations help us understand how the brain influences behavior. We provide evaluation and treatment recommendations for conditions like stroke, traumatic brain injury, dementia and more.
- Coordinated Expertise: Our psychologists are embedded across many specialties, including developmental behavioral pediatrics, sleep medicine, pediatric primary care, cancer care, rehabilitation and comprehensive pain. With services at UVM Health locations across the region, quality care is within reach, no matter where you live in Vermont or northern New York.
