About Me
As a hospital-based psychologist, every day is a rewarding experience to work with patients who are experiencing some of the most vulnerable moments in their lives. It's a privilege to be part of their healing process and to offer psychotherapy when they are in the hospital.
My approach to care is holistic in that I use a biopsychosocial approach to understand patients as a whole person. A hospitalization is focused on a patient's medical issues, which may limit the way one is seen and heard.
Therefore, it is essential I consider intersectional identities a patient holds, their life outside of the hospital and the stressors they may be facing so I can provide the best care.
