About Me

I continue to marvel at the resilience of the human spirit and the capacity for all people to heal and grow.

My approach is rooted in trauma-informed care and a deep respect for each person’s unique story. I work collaboratively with patients to explore how life experiences and other factors might impact them in the present. Together, we focus on building insight, managing difficult emotions and cultivating increasingly rich and satisfying relationships with themselves, others and the world.

My current clinical work focuses on mood and anxiety, trauma, loss, reproductive health, gender related concerns, medical challenges and interpersonal relationships.

In my role as Chief Psychologist in the Department of Psychological Services at University of Vermont Medical Center, I provide departmental oversight, clinical and administrative supervision, direct care and didactic instruction for Psychology Residents. As Clinical Associate Professor at the Larner College of Medicine, I supervise Child Psychiatry Fellows and present in their Didactic Seminar Series.

I'm honored to participate in the training and development of mental health providers and appreciate the opportunity to learn from them and patients every day.  I am also privileged to work with wise, skilled and compassionate colleagues who deliver excellent patient care.

I work collaboratively with patients to explore how life experiences and other factors might impact them in the present.
