Urology

Your Path to Advanced Care and Wellness

Urology focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of conditions that affect male and female urinary tracts and male reproductive organs. The upper urinary tract includes the kidneys and ureters (the ducts that carry urine from the kidneys to the bladder).

The lower urinary tract is made up of the bladder and the urethra (the tube that moves urine from the bladder out of the body). The male reproductive system includes the penis, testes and prostate gland.

University of Vermont Health's highly skilled urology team cares for people with all urologic conditions, from common to complex. With a dedicated pediatric urology team at UVM Children’s Hospital, we deliver the full continuum of care for people of all ages.

Our providers are at the forefront of leading-edge urology care. You benefit from access to the latest technology and techniques for restoring urinary and sexual function.
