Neurology

Neurological Care That Combines Skill, Compassion and Technology

Neurology focuses on conditions affecting the body's nervous system — the brain, spinal cord and nerves. Communication problems in the brain and spinal cord can trigger seizures, cause pain and affect movement, memory and thinking skills.

At University of Vermont Health, we understand how neurological conditions can impact the whole body. We bring together a team of multidisciplinary specialists for a comprehensive evaluation and diagnosis. Then we work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan that centers on your goals and needs. When surgery is needed, we partner with our neurosurgery team to provide comprehensive, collaborative care.
