Oncology and Hematology Services
Hematology and Oncology care is enhanced by the support of the Victoria Buffum Endowment and Fund. Programs such as oncology rehabilitation, massage, yoga, mindfulness tools and health coaching are examples of the many initiatives launched and funded though the Buffum Endowment. Patients and families also benefit from the Cancer Patient Support Foundation who support the UVM Medical Center through an annual gift that helps to pay for patient co-payments for psychological services.
In addition to world class treatment and care, psychological and nutritional services are offered at no charge to patients. Please ask your care team about all the available supportive services for hematology/oncology patients and families at the UVM Medical Center.
Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Program
The Hematology/Oncology fellowship program at UVM Medical Center and the University of Vermont College of Medicine offers a program designed to effectively prepare physicians for successful ABIM board certification in both Hematology and Medical Oncology.
