Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT)
Comprehensive, Collaborative and Personalized Care
Otolaryngologists are physicians with expertise treating problems of the ears, nose, throat, neck and skull base. They provide a range of treatments for children and adults, including highly specialized, complex surgeries.
At University of Vermont Health, we blend state-of-the-art technology with compassionate care. Our physicians provide treatment options not available elsewhere in Vermont and northern New York. We deliver those treatments with a comprehensive, personalized approach, so you receive the care that’s right for you.
Why Choose UVM Health?
As a leading ear, nose and throat (ENT) program in the region, we offer:
- Experience: Our otolaryngologist–head and neck surgeons are board-certified and fellowship-trained in specific areas of ENT practice. Our team also features a fellowship-trained laryngologist, an otolaryngologist specially trained to provide advanced care for voice and swallowing disorders.
- Multidisciplinary teams: We collaborate with our network of specialists — including experts in neurology, endocrinology, audiology and ophthalmology — to deliver comprehensive care. We also lead and participate in multidisciplinary clinics to meet the unique needs of patients with cleft lip and palate, aerodigestive disorders and head and neck cancer.
- Innovative treatments: As part of a health system anchored by an academic medical center, our physicians offer many advanced treatments, including Botox® injections, transoral robotic surgery (TORS), salivary gland surgery, skull base surgery, sleep apnea surgery and cochlear implants.
- Convenient testing: We streamline the evaluation process by offering some tests in-office. Your visit may include an ultrasound and biopsy for neck masses or nasal endoscopy to look inside your nose. We also offer on-site audiology evaluations for hearing issues at many locations.
