Who Weekend Care Is For

Weekend Primary Care is available only for established patients of the below UVM Medical Center practices.

If you are not a current UVM Medical Center primary care patient and need immediate care, please visit one of our Urgent Care or Emergency Room locations.

Types of Appointments Available

Weekend Primary Care is designed for urgent, non-emergency health concerns that can’t wait until Monday.

Examples of urgent needs include:

  • Fever, cough, sore throat or other minor illness
  • Ear pain or sinus infection
  • Urinary symptoms
  • New or worsening rash

For non-urgent needs, please contact your provider’s office during regular weekday hours. This helps ensure weekend availability for patients who need urgent care.

  • Routine follow-up appointments
  • Test results or ongoing care questions
