Pediatric providers (pediatricians) at University of Vermont Health - Golisano Children's Hospital provide all the services your child needs to stay healthy and recover from illnesses or injuries.
Our pediatricians have specialized expertise in caring for children of all ages and life stages, from infancy through young adulthood.
We recognize that you know your child best. We work to earn your family’s trust by listening to and getting to know your child and family. We partner with you to support your child’s health and customize care plans that are as unique as your child.
Our Services
We offer a suite of services, including:
- Well-child exam
- Sports, school and camp physicals
- Vaccinations
- Newborn care and breastfeeding support
- Vision and hearing screenings
- Acute (sudden-onset) conditions, such as flu, COVID-19, ear infections and strep infections
- Chronic conditions, such as asthma and ADHD
- Gynecologic care, contraception and sexually transmitted infection counseling for teens and young adults
- Mental health care, including addiction treatment
- Psychological services
- Gender-affirming care
Specialty Programs
Preteens and teenagers have unique health care concerns and emotional needs that require a specialized approach. Our skilled providers treat you and your child with kindness and sensitivity. We help your children and adolescents get the care they need, in a trusting and supportive environment.
Our Adolescent Medicine program delivers teen-specific services in a caring environment that promotes trust. We help youths up to age 17 feel confident taking charge of their health.
Eating disorders can affect your child mentally, physically and socially. Our Eating Disorder Assessment Clinic offers evaluation and treatment recommendations for adolescents ages 11 to 17.
Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology includes routine and problem-focused care of the reproductive system in children and adolescents. Our skilled clinicians can help address concerns related to general gynecology, reproduction or sexual health.
The Transgender Youth Program offers education, support and medical treatment to gender-diverse youth and families seeking care for conditions such as gender incongruence and dysphoria.
