We tailor our approach to each resident, always providing compassionate, respectful care.

Clinical Services

We offer a wide array of clinical services to meet our residents’ medical needs. Our affiliation with Porter Medical Center and University of Vermont Health means residents have easy access to specialty care as needed.

Our services include:

Medication Management

Our team assists you with maintaining an appropriate medication schedule and communicates with your doctors if you need medication changes.

Intravenous Therapies

We offer intravenous (IV) therapies on-site for residents who need them.

Physical Therapy

Physical therapists offer specialized exercises and activities to improve strength, endurance, flexibility and balance. We help residents decrease pain and maximize function.

Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapists offer exercises and activities designed to help you participate in activities of daily living, such as tying your shoes or preparing a meal. We can help you adapt to your environment and teach special techniques that allow you to achieve your highest level of independence.

Nutrition Services

Our dietitians help ensure we meet residents’ nutritional needs. These experts can provide general nutrition guidance and guidance for residents with special dietary needs, such as those with diabetes or heart disease.

Speech Therapy

Speech therapists use the latest technologies and approaches to help improve communication, cognition or swallowing difficulties.

Wound Care

Our providers offer full-spectrum wound care for residents with slow-healing wounds caused by conditions such as diabetes or peripheral arterial disease.

Respite and End-of-Life Care

Addison Respite Care Home (ARCH) is a home for end-of-life care. Our respite care rooms with outdoor courtyard access provide home-like amenities in a clinical setting. We help ease pain and provide supportive care for residents at the end of their life. Respite rooms are double-sized and built with space for loved ones to visit and stay overnight.
