Every gift makes a difference and helps Home Health & Hospice provide high-quality care to our community.
Our Approach to Philanthropy
Behind every patient’s care is a team of dedicated caregivers, staff, administrative professionals — and donors. Our development team works closely with Home Health & Hospice leadership to ensure your donation goes exactly where you designate and where it’s needed most.
Home Health & Hospice is part of University of Vermont Health, a nonprofit integrated health system.
We understand that many people want to invest in local programs and see the impact of their donation at work. That’s why donations to Home Health & Hospice are used solely to support our programs and services at Home Health & Hospice.

The Impact of Giving
Donations support the full range of services we provide and touch the lives of more than 1,000 patients each day. As partners in this important work, our generous donors help us:
- Deliver compassionate end-of-life care at the McClure Miller Respite House — Vermont’s only Medicare-certified, inpatient hospice residence.
- Expand access to our programs and services by providing millions of dollars of charitable care. We believe that everyone deserves care, regardless of their ability to pay.
- Provide meaningful career pathways for our talented staff by investing in skill building, training and career development.
