All of our courses utilize small-group learning that features cognitive mapping, deliberate practice with simulated patients, and just-in-time feedback. We are committed to making participation in TalkVermont programs accessible to all healthcare professionals. Course: Advanced Goals of Care Conversations

This TalkVermont course builds on basic serious illness communication skills. This course is recommended if you have taken a TalkVermont course or have some practice around serious illness communication.

Building up Fundamentals of Care

In this TalkVermont course, you will learn how to improve your communication skills around sharing medical information, eliciting goals and values and connecting more deeply with your patients. We also will provide education around where and how to document goals of care conversations. This course is designed for beginners around goals of care conversations.
