Our Approach
We believe that empathic and honest conversations, focused on what matters most to a patient, are the cornerstones of patient- and family-centered care. All of our courses utilize small-group learning that features cognitive mapping, deliberate practice with simulated patients, and just-in-time feedback. We are committed to making participation in TalkVermont programs accessible to all healthcare professionals. We offer discount codes for our courses to make sure that anyone can attend.

- Please only register if you can stay for the entirety of the course. Early departure is disruptive to group formation and maintenance.
- Registrations are non-transferable. Registrations will be verified upon attendance on the day of the course. Those who have not registered will not be permitted to attend the course.
- Physician rates are listed as the course price. Discounts are available for many specialties to help make these courses accessible. Please contact talkvermont@uvmhealth.org to receive a discount code before registering.
