At this time, a new biomedical research complex is vital to ensure the future of research at UVM and enable the scale of medical innovations necessary to meet the complex and evolving needs of our population.

A leadership gift from Steven Firestone, MD '69, given in honor of his parents, Dr. Frederick and Mrs. Bobbie Firestone, has set the stage for construction of such a facility. With flexible, collaborative spaces, the new facility will improve efficiencies, promote resource-sharing, support innovation and enhance the teaching environment.
