Bringing together medical, emotional and integrative support — all in one place.
Support That Makes a Difference
At the National Life Cancer Treatment Center, we offer a range of services to support you and your family throughout every stage of care. From trusted information and practical resources to emotional, physical and spiritual support, our team is here to help you navigate treatment with confidence.
A dedicated case manager helps guide your care, coordinating appointments, connecting you with hospital and community resources, addressing concerns and providing support throughout your treatment journey.
Integrative therapies, including massage and acupuncture, are available to promote relaxation, relieve stress and support overall well‑being during treatment. These services are offered on‑site, with appointments scheduled through the front desk. Practitioners come directly into the clinic to see patients.
Rehabilitation services help address the physical, functional and cognitive effects of cancer and its treatment. We coordinate closely with physical, occupational and speech therapists to support strength, mobility, communication and daily activities. When appropriate, patients may also be referred to UVM Medical Center’s Steps to Wellness, a medically-informed rehabilitation and group-exercise program that serves the unique needs of cancer patients.
A registered dietitian is on‑site several days a week to provide personalized nutrition guidance to help maintain strength and manage treatment-related side effects.
Financial assistance resources are available to help reduce the financial stress of cancer care. Our team can help connect you with available programs and guide you through next steps.
Support groups offer adult cancer patients, survivors and caregivers the opportunity to connect with others, learn more about cancer‑related topics and share challenges, successes and helpful coping strategies.
