About Our Location
Primary care providers at University of Vermont Health – Porter Medical Center provide equitable, whole-person health care to everyone in our community, one patient at a time. We work with you to create individual health care plans that are designed to provide the attentive care you need, when and where you need it.
Our approach to primary care starts by developing a customized health care plan for each patient. Designed by your primary care provider, these plans focus on addressing individual health needs and are supported by a robust team of health care providers.
Our Services
We provide routine, urgent and preventative care services to treat acute incidents and provide ongoing support for chronic health conditions.
Typical services include:
- Physical and wellness examinations for all age groups
- Pediatric care for babies, young children and teens
- Adult and geriatric medicine
- Gynecologic care
- Newborn care
- Family planning and birth control
- Skin biopsy and cryosurgery
We also provide care management services to patients, helping them with housing issues, access to food, questions about insurance, transportation concerns and more.
