Alice Hyde Auxiliary is the largest donor to the hospital, and its volunteer members help support health care initiatives and services across the organization.
The Auxiliary raises funds to purchase new medical equipment and technology, supporting our ability to provide top-notch care. The Auxiliary also supports local students pursuing medical careers by providing scholarships.

Notice of the Annual Meeting: The Auxiliary holds an annual meeting on the last Tuesday in April. All members are encouraged to attend.

Anyone 18 or older is eligible to join. You can also find us on Facebook and choose the "Sign Up" option at the top of our page.
Each year the Auxiliary offers scholarships to students pursuing studies in the health care profession who live in the area served by the hospital (Malone, Chateaugay, Brushton-Moira, Salmon River and St. Regis Falls). The Auxiliary recognizes high school students for their academic excellence, as well as school and community activities. Awards are presented in June of each year.
- Auxiliary Scholarship: Students starting their first year of college in a health care field are eligible for a $500 scholarship. Students who have successfully completed one or more years of study and are continuing their education in health care are eligible for a $1,000 scholarship award.
- Huguette MacDonald Memorial Scholarship: First-year students pursuing a career in nursing are eligible for a $1,000 scholarship award.
Auxiliary Board
The board of directors develops policy and makes key decisions at board meetings. Members are expected to provide at least two hours of service per month, as well as leadership of one committee. The goal is to further the mission of Alice Hyde Medical Center.
