University of Vermont Health – Alice Hyde Medical Center is a 25-bed critical access hospital where more than 37,000 residents in northern New York turn for care. We are proudly home to the Alice Center, a skilled nursing and assisted living facility with 135 skilled nursing beds and 30 assisted living beds. Our dedicated staff deliver compassionate, community-focused health care every day — supporting patients and families through life’s routine and most critical moments.
As part of a rural academic health system, we use the latest technologies, research and medical innovations to keep care close to home while continuing to provide the primary, specialty, urgent and emergency care our community depends on us for. Together, we’re helping patients access leading-edge treatment while staying rooted in the values and relationships that define our region.
