The child psychiatry fellowship program is located in stunning Burlington, Vermont - a small city on the shores of Lake Champlain bordered by the Green Mountains to the east and the Adirondack Mountains to the west. The area is famous for its safe and friendly communities, excellent schools, progressive ethos, art and cultural events, spectacular fall foliage, and a multitude of activities for the outdoor enthusiast. For more information, see the section on Living in Vermont.

The child psychiatry fellowship is part of the University of Vermont College of Medicine and UVM Medical Center and is coordinated with the general psychiatry program. The fellowship generally recruits two incoming fellows per year to join two residents who are already participating in our five-year Integrated General/Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Program. For the upcoming 2021 - 2022 academic year, however, we will be recruiting three residents to join the fellowship directly as a PGY4 or PGY5.

This is truly an exciting time for the University, our Division, and the entire field of Child Psychiatry. We encourage you to consider joining us.
