Our Priority Initiatives
Residents of the North Country understand the value of having health care close to home. Since 1926, we’ve been here for our community members during times of health and sickness and at every stage of life.
We count on your donations to help us provide better health care services and programs. With your support, we’re able to improve our facilities, strengthen our workforce and deliver services that improve our community’s health — now and in the future.
To help us continue our work, we’ve identified the following focus areas for you to consider when donating. You can also contact us to direct your gift to an area of specific interest.
The General Fund touches every aspect of our mission and helps us improve the health and well-being of our patients and community. Your gift to this fund will be used to support programs and services that are in most need of assistance, which include direct patient support, scholarships, medical equipment and community wellness.
The Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehabilitation Fund supports our local patients with cardiac health issues. We are now raising funds for the expansion of the Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital cardiac rehabilitation program to provide better access to care for our patients. This expansion will also allow for the development of a pulmonary rehabilitation program for people with chronic lung diseases.
A cancer diagnosis can create emotional and financial stress. Your gift helps a patient when they need it most and supports enhanced care within the Cancer Treatment Center.
This fund covers routine or unexpected expenses for patients related to housing, transportation, food and medical care. This support may help a person complete treatment, access their care more easily or simply sleep better at night. Always, it gives hope.
Your support also provides education to patients and the care team as well as purchasing equipment and programs that enhance care.
Patients can also receive support from Jane’s Fight Fund and Chelsea’s Rainbow Fund.
Building a strong health care workforce ensures the long-term availability and delivery of care in our community. We are dedicated to helping our employees and members of our community build skills, pursue education and earn professional certifications to establish rewarding careers in health care.
With your support, we can provide meaningful career pathways to meet the needs of our community and the patients we serve, today and in the future.
