Support Essential Programs with Community-Driven Events
Fundraising events help us secure additional resources for essential programs and services at Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital and in our community. We invite you to support us by attending, donating to or volunteering at an event. You could even host your own event to raise funds for a cause that’s meaningful to you.
For more information about our events, how to register and sponsorship opportunities, contact Events & Special Projects Manager Michelle Senecal at 518-314-3359 or msenecal@cvph.org.
Our Fundraising Events
Fundraising events support investments in our employees, programs and facilities and the health of our community.
Heart disease is the leading cause of death among women. More than 80% of those deaths could be prevented through greater awareness of heart disease risk factors and symptoms that impact women. With your support, we can turn the tide on heart disease.
National Wear Red Day is the American Heart Association's national movement to end heart disease and stroke in women. On the first Friday in February, The Foundation of Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital coordinates a Wear Red fundraiser for our employees and local businesses. Proceeds benefit our cardiology patients and programs to prevent heart attack and stroke in our local community.
Each year, we also host Stepping Out for Your Heart. Community members are invited to “rock their red” and come together for a special evening dedicated to raising funds and awareness to end heart disease and stroke for all women. Join us for an evening of heart-healthy food, inspiring speakers, live and silent auctions and more. For more information, please contact Events & Special Projects Manager Michelle Senecal at 518-314-3359 or msenecal@cvph.org.
Get out your green running gear and leprechaun hat and join us for the annual Shamrock Shuffle 5K. This race is a fun and healthy way to support The Foundation of Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital.
Each year, we select a different hospital program or initiative to support. Proceeds from previous Shamrock Shuffles have supported music therapy for our Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Unit, murals in the Adult Inpatient Psychiatric Unit, funds for patient travel, and much more.
Join us for our annual Easter egg hunt, known as the fastest two-minute event in Plattsburgh. We’ll be placing more than 10,000 eggs on the hospital lawn for kids to collect. The event is open to children 10 and under, with a separate area for kids 3 and under.
Our summer event is our biggest annual fundraiser. Each year our summer event features a unique theme and raises support for our general fund.
