How to Get Started
  • Decide on the type of event you’ll be holding. There are many fun ways to bring people together and raise funds, so choose an event that resonates with you.
  • Let us know what you are planning. Read our Third-Party Fundraising Guidelines and complete the Third-Party Fundraising Proposal Form.
  • Form a committee to help plan and organize your event or project. As you move forward, consider the interest, talents, goals and time availability of your team.
  • Determine your target audience. Who is most likely to attend and support your event or project? Are you trying to attract the general public or a specific audience?
  • Think about how you could promote the event to get your friends, family and community excited.
Things to Keep in Mind
  • You are responsible for recruiting all volunteers for your event.
  • Individuals under 18 must have an adult advisor to oversee the coordination of a school or community event or project.
  • Printed and other materials should state that your event is benefiting Alice Hyde Medical Center.
  • All necessary permits and certificates of insurance required by city ordinance or otherwise are the responsibility of the fundraising group.
  • Due to confidentiality, we cannot release patient, family, donor, volunteer, employee, physician or other mailing lists for the purpose of soliciting funds or promoting your event or project.
  • If circumstances warrant, Alice Hyde Medical Center may opt out as a beneficiary of the event.
