When you make a gift to Alice Hyde Medical Center, you help support programs and services that could not happen with operating dollars alone.
Our Priority Initiatives
Residents of the North Country understand the value of having health care close to home. For more than 100 years, we’ve been here for our community members during times of health and sickness and at every stage of life.
We count on your donations to help us continue to provide the expert care you expect and deserve. With your support, we’re able to improve our facilities and deliver services that sustain our community’s health, now and in the future.
To help us continue our work, we’ve identified the following focus areas for you to consider when donating. You can also contact us to direct your gift to an area of specific interest.
The Alice Hyde Medical Center Fund touches every aspect of our mission and helps us improve the health and well-being of our patients. Your gift to this fund will be used to support areas of the organization that are in most need of assistance.
The Alice Center offers short- and long-term nursing care, rehabilitation and assisted living. With its home-like atmosphere, residents get the care they need while maintaining their privacy and dignity. Donations to this fund support programs and services at The Alice Center and recreational activities that help engage and entertain residents.
You can also support The Alice Center and pay tribute to a loved one with an engraved paver for The Alice Center walkway.
Every day, people with cancer benefit from donations made to the Reddy Cancer Treatment Center. Your gift helps us keep pace with new technology and treatments and provide needed support to our patients and families.
There are three designated funds for cancer care:
- Reddy Cancer Treatment Center Fund: A gift to this general fund helps us maintain a modern facility and state-of-the-art treatment options, right here in the North Country.
- Breast Cancer Patient Care Fund: This fund started with a $2,000 gift from the American Legion Post 219 Auxiliary in Malone. The goal of the fund is to alleviate the financial stress of breast cancer so families can focus on their health and well-being. Your gift reminds our breast cancer patients that they are not alone.
- Kalpana Reddy Patient Care Fund: We use this fund to provide comfort and hope for patients and families living with cancer. Established in 2016, this fund helps with routine and unexpected expenses related to housing, transportation, medical services and much more. A small grant can help a patient complete treatment, purchase groceries or pay a bill. Always, it gives hope.
We are dedicated to helping our employees and members of our community build skills, pursue education and earn professional certifications to establish rewarding careers in health care. With your support, we can create a workforce that meets the health care needs of our community today and in the years to come.
