Trauma Survivors Network
The Trauma Survivors Network (TSN) is a national community of patients and families looking to connect with one another after a serious traumatic injury. Joining this community can help ease the anxiety and frustration often experienced following a sudden injury and the resulting hospitalization, by connecting you with other trauma survivors and families who face the same unique challenges.
The UVM Medical Center, in partnership with the American Trauma Society (ATS), is committed to supporting and growing the TSN locally by providing the tools trauma patients and families need to navigate the road to recovery and to help improve and rebuild their lives.

Support Group
The UVM Medical Center virtual Facebook support group for Trauma Survivors is a place for you to connect and share your experience with other survivors. The group is private and moderated by TSN staff and members.

Adaptive Technology Car Show
The Adaptive Technology Car Show is a family friendly event focused on highlighting the different technologies that help get people back on the road (as riders and drivers) after a serious injury or health event.
The Adaptive Technology Car show is an opportunity to explore technology installed in the cars of community members. Besides the ‘teched’ out cars, the Adaptive Technology Car Show is an opportunity to network and meet community partners who work with adaptive technology for cars, recreational equipment and more.
The next Adaptive Technology Car Show is Saturday, August 24th from 10 am to 1 pm at the Fanny Allen Campus. There will be free ice cream and music offered by Star 92.9! We hope to see you there!
This event is made possible due to support of the UVM Medical Center Fund and the philanthropic gifts that fund it.
Life After Trauma: Celebrating Survivors
Life After Trauma is a night to celebrate the recovery process and the lives of those who have survived trauma. The event offers opportunities to network with fellow survivors and recognize champions in the community and in trauma care. The highlight of the evening is Survivor Stories, where trauma survivors share their stories and struggles around trauma and recovery.
The next Life After Trauma is Wednesday, May 15th at 6pm. Register to attend the hybrid event, in-person or on zoom, at UVMHealth.org/LifeAfterTrauma2024.
