Denim Day at UVM Medical Center
Several times throughout the year, employees have the opportunity to make a gift to the UVM Medical Center through Denim Days. Employees who make a donation of $5 or more to the featured program or service are encouraged to wear jeans to work on the selected date or, if they are unable to wear jeans, to show their support by wearing an official “I donated” sticker and the “spirit” color for that Denim Day.
In 2019, with five Denim Days, 1,290 UVM Medical Center Employees gave a total of $16,938. The five featured programs were Big Change Roundup for Kids, LeRoyer Employee Emergency Assistance, Cystic Fibrosis Program, Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit at Fanny Allen and High-Risk Breast Program.
This great success would not be possible without our Denim Day Ambassadors who help spread the word and collect donations. Thank you to all of our participants and Ambassadors.
