Woodridge Rehabilitation & Nursing provides expert, compassionate care in a home-like environment.
Meeting Your Idea of Home Is Our Purpose
With more than 30 years of experience as the nursing home of choice in Central Vermont, we pride ourselves on a resident-centered atmosphere. Here you’ll find a community, respect for your personal routines and an atmosphere that helps you maximize independence.
Woodridge Living Spaces
Woodridge is more than a skilled nursing center. We are a vibrant community of more than 100 long-term residents and caring staff.
When you move into our center, we match you to the living space best suited to your needs. Our residents live in three neighborhoods:
- Maple Grove: A space for people whose primary needs relate to dementia and memory care. Our dedicated memory care program offers a safe, nurturing environment where residents get specialized attention, engaging activities and care from highly trained professionals.
- Evergreen: For those who need short-term rehabilitation services. Whether you’re recovering from surgery, an injury or a hospital stay, we help you get back on your feet faster. Our clinical rehabilitation team provides personalized therapies to support your recovery.
- Spruce Common: For people with physical needs requiring long-term custodial medical care. We provide a comfortable, supportive environment for residents who are physically frail. Our compassionate staff is experienced in meeting your needs and helping you feel at home.
Our Philosophy
When new residents join our community, we ask them about their lifestyle, habits and passions: What activities do you enjoy? What are your usual routines? In short: How can we make Woodridge your home?
Our team empowers you to continue making your own choices and keeping your familiar routines, whether it’s your mealtimes, sleep habits or medication schedule.
The concept of home is unique to everyone. That’s why we strive to create an atmosphere that embraces and respects what home means to you.
Woodridge Resident Council
The Woodridge Resident Council plays a central role in resident decision-making. Council members are residents who embody the spirit of collaboration, ensuring all residents’ needs and preferences are listened to and carried out. The Council works with the families and loved ones of residents with memory loss who may have difficulty communicating on their own.
