About Our Location
Our cardiac electrophysiology team at University of Vermont Health – Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital uses the most advanced technologies to provide you with the best possible care. Our team brings a level of expertise not found in most rural hospitals.
Electrophysiology is a medical specialty focused on the heart’s electric system. Our cardiac electrophysiologists offer targeted diagnosis and treatment for arrhythmias, or irregular heart rhythms.
Our Facilities Include:
All procedures are performed in our dedicated electrophysiology lab, including:
- Complex ablations including atrial fibrillation ablation
- Drug therapy
- Implantable cardiac devices (pacemakers, defibrillators and cardiac resynchronization or biventricular devices)
- Electrical cardioversion
- Tilt testing
