Thomas Luke Arnell
Luke grew up in San Diego, California and attended the University of Virginia for his undergraduate studies, where he majored in Neuroscience. He then moved to Burlington to attend medical school at the University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine. While there, his research interests included quality of life in head and neck cancer patients and public health studies related to the HPV vaccine. Outside of the hospital, Luke enjoys hiking, skiing, listening to music, and watching his favorite sports teams, the San Diego Padres and UVA basketball.
Donald Bennett grew up in Masontown, WV. He attended West Virginia University for his undergraduate degree and medical school. While in medical school he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha and the Gold Humanism Society. While at WVU he met his wife, Marie, a native of Quebec, Canada, and together they have two boys, Leonard and Luca. They are happy to be in Vermont, especially when it comes to spending time outdoors. Donald enjoys fishing, hunting, running and biking, and is interested in Otology.
Dan grew up in Yarmouth, Maine and studied biological engineering at the University of Maine. He then completed medical school in Boston at Tufts University School of Medicine as a participant in the Maine Track Program. It was there that he met his wife, Kate, who recently finished her residency in pediatrics and is now working as a pediatric hospitalist at UVM Children's Hospital. Dan is the chief resident for the 2020-21 academic year and has matched to Pittsburgh Children's Hospital for his fellowship in pediatric otolaryngology. When outside of the hospital, Dan can be found spending time with his wife, daughter and dog, skiing, playing soccer, and hiking.
Courtney grew up in Rumford, RI. She majored in Biology and minored in Mathematics at Providence College. She went on to receive her M.D. from Rush Medical College in Chicago. There, she participated in research projects including clinical outcomes in young adults with oral tongue cancer as well as a quality improvement project involving tracheostomy surgical stay sutures. She enjoys time with her family, friends, and dog, watching the Patriots, skiing, and food.
Quinn Self, MD
Quinn grew up in Richmond, Vermont and attended St. Lawrence University where he studied Neuroscience and graduated Summa Cum Laude. He returned to Vermont to attend the University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha. Quinn's ENT interests include head and neck reconstruction, facial trauma, and education. Outside of the hospital, Quinn enjoys woodworking, cooking, and adventuring outdoors with his partner Kelsey.
