Honor a Caregiver

Honor a Caregiver
A medical professional smiles at something in the distance.

Recognize a cancer caregiver who made a difference in your life or in the life of someone close to you.

Express Your Gratitude by Giving

Did someone at UVM Cancer Center go above and beyond for you or a loved one? There's no better way to show your appreciation to a special doctor, nurse, staff member or volunteer than through our Honor a Caregiver program.

Gifts can be made to honor individuals from across our organization — not just clinical staff. You may want to recognize:

  • The doctor who listened to your worries and made a plan
  • The infusion nurse who provided a steady, expert point of contact throughout treatment
  • The social worker who connected you with integrative health resources
  • The radiation oncology tech who greeted you warmly

We will notify your honoree of your gift (excluding the gift amount). We will also present them with a Health Care Hero pin to wear with pride and to let the whole UVM Cancer Center community know about their exceptional efforts.

To donate through our Honor a Caregiver program, make a gift online or reach out to Lindsay Longe, Lindsay.Longe@uvmhealth.org, 802-598-3422.

I am always so deeply moved and grateful when a patient makes a donation in my honor. It is a testament to our entire team and the kind of care we are proud to provide our cancer patients.
