Honor a Caregiver

Did someone at Golisano Children's Hospital at University of Vermont Health go above and beyond for you or a loved one? There's no better way to show your appreciation to a special doctor, nurse, staff member or volunteer than through our Health Care Hero program.

Anyone who's visited us knows we define care in the broadest possible terms. Our remarkable team strives to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of patients and families.

Gifts can be made to honor individuals from across our organization — not just clinical staff. You may want to recognize:

• The provider who put your child’s worries at ease
• The staff member who made your child smile during recovery
• The food service worker who made sure your child had a special meal
• The volunteer who brought your child a warm blanket
• Any other team member who made a profound impact on your child’s care

We will notify your honoree of your gift (excluding the gift amount) and present them with a Health Care Hero pin to wear with pride and to let the whole Golisano Children's Hospital community know about their exceptional efforts.
