Donations have helped us care for our community, build new facilities, invest in the latest technology, research and more.
The Impact of Giving
Behind every patient’s care is a team of dedicated clinicians, staff, administrative professionals — and donors. Our giving team at Golisano Children's Hospital at University of Vermont Health works closely with hospital leadership and the local community to enhance our shared goal of improving people’s lives.
Donations have touched millions of families through a wide range of initiatives at Golisano Children's Hospital. From patient care to employee education and leading-edge research, charitable gifts have helped us:
- Bring state-of-the-art equipment and technologies to our pediatric units
- Conduct research that drives breakthroughs and cures for pediatric illnesses
- Create family-centered facilities, such as the Mother Baby Unit
- Expanded pediatric patient services, such as child abuse screening and mental health support
- Fund innovative employee-led projects and new initiatives
- Offer training and workforce development programs to improve the skills of our employees
- Provide essential medical treatments to local underserved children and families
- Sustain critical child wellness programs
Our Approach to Philanthropy
Golisano Children's Hospital is part of University of Vermont Health, a nonprofit multi-hospital, integrated health system. We’re also a member of the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals — a national nonprofit organization dedicated to raising funds for children’s hospitals across the U.S.
We understand that many people want to invest in their community and see the impact of their gift at work. That’s why 100% of the donations you make to us directly or through the Children’s Miracle Network are used to support Golisano Children's Hospital projects.
