About Me
Growing up in the Adirondacks gave me a deep appreciation for the resilience, independence and character of the people in this region. I knew I wanted a career focused not only on solving problems, but also on building relationships and caring for others. What I find most rewarding is supporting patients during some of life's most difficult and vulnerable moments, helping them feel heard, cared for and supported.
Returning to the region where I grew up is especially meaningful to me. I value the trust that develops between patients and providers and strive to bring both compassion and medical expertise to every encounter.
I recently completed a fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine, which strengthened my ability to care for patients and families facing serious or complex illness. I am passionate about helping patients navigate difficult medical decisions, understand their options and ensure their care aligns with their goals and values.
My approach to medicine has been shaped by working in the Emergency Department, where I have seen firsthand the impact of teamwork. I have tremendous respect for the nurses, pharmacists, respiratory therapists, technicians, consultants and many others who work together to provide exceptional care. These experiences have reinforced the importance of collaboration, listening and mutual respect in caring for patients.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, exploring trails on foot, by bike or on skis and being in the mountains with the people I love.
