About Me

I'm passionate about providing empathetic care to patients during illness and in health.

I focus my work with patients on providing information and education so that they can participate in making decisions about managing their health. My goal is for the patient to feel that they are part of the team of care providers rather than outside it.

I focus on lifestyle interventions to control chronic disease, specifically pulmonary rehabilitation, a validated intervention that improves health care outcomes and quality of life in patients with lung disease.

But I also recognize that external stressors can worsen disease control. Ultimately, I work on reducing the burden of disease to the greatest extent possible.

My goal is for the patient to feel that they are part of the team of care providers rather than outside it.

  • Dr. Menson was outstanding. She was especially thorough; she asked probing and critical questions; she offered helpful preventive guidance: and, most significantly for me, she understood how my struggles with PASC/Long Covid added a layer of complexity to my medical situation and needs. She is a highly intelligent and patient practitioner, which I especially appreciate and value. I thought she was excellent; I feel that I am in good and compassionate, competent hands.
  • The time Dr. Menson spent with me explaining my pulmonary issues was thorough.
