About Me

My clinical interests in neurodegeneration, neurocognitive disorders and Alzheimer's Disease include early and pre-clinical diagnosis of neurodegenerative disorders. I frequently care for patients with Alzheimer's, dementia with Lewy bodies and frontotemporal lobar degeneration.

I oversee comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and subsequent longitudinal care of patients with possible degenerative neurocognitive disorders. I am excited to have entered this field during a time of tremendous growth in understanding the pathological basis for these conditions, with many promising therapies on the horizon.

I consider myself fortunate to work in a clinic with excellent nurse practitioners and social workers to aid in managing the multiple psycho-social aspects of these conditions.

My research interests involve healthy brain aging, neuronal network dysfunction and dementia care delivery.

  • It was clear from the start that Dr. Taylor recognizes each patient has unique personal circumstances and health issues. He gleaned essential information by approaching answers from multiple directions improving clarity. His gentle, caring persona invites honest responses as well as sincere efforts to respond fully to his inquiries. Considering the demand for his time and expertise, his ability to make the patient feel he was solely focused on them was notable. All physicians achieve a medical degree, not all maintain a "degree" of humility like Dr. Taylor.

  • He seemed much more interested in my daughter's responses than mine. I did not feel "heard".
  • Informative and easy to discuss everything and ask questions.
