About Me

Being part of a patient’s team to treat cancer is both a privilege and a responsibility — one that extends beyond providing medical expertise.

As a radiation oncologist, I have the opportunity to guide individuals through some of the most challenging periods of their lives, offering not just treatment but compassion and support.

I believe the most rewarding aspect of being a health care provider is the patient-physician relationship. To foster that, I approach every person with empathy, seeking to understand their perspective and meet them where they are emotionally, mentally and physically.

My philosophy is to treat cancer as a specialist while seeing and honoring the patient as a whole person. It’s important to me that each individual feels they are more than their diagnosis — that they continue to feel like a person with a full life outside of cancer care.

I tailor appointments to the specific concerns and questions my patients have, recognizing that their needs evolve throughout the journey. I also understand that effective cancer care is a team effort, involving the patient, their family and a dedicated group of health care professionals.

Clear communication and shared decision-making are essential in creating a supportive, responsive care environment.

It’s important to me that each individual feels they are more than their diagnosis—that they continue to feel like a person with a full life outside of cancer care.

  • He was very informative!
  • 100% pleased.
  • I was very pleased with the care, concern, and medical information Dr. Sueyoshi shared with myself and my daughters at my appointment about my upcoming treatment.
  • Dr. Sueyoshi was fabulous in explaining everything to us about my treatment-the what/why/where/when. He answered all of our questions very thoroughly and clarified things we were not sure about. During the exam, he always told me what he was going to do before he did it, which was most appreciated. I also appreciated that during the talking part of our visit, that I was still in my regular clothes, which felt very comfortable and I wasn't sitting there in a gown feeling self-conscious, and didn't change into a gown until right before the exam. He is very kind, competent and compassionate!
  • Everything was excellent.
  • Very pleased to work with Dr. Sueyoshi.
  • Dr was pleasant and knowledgeable.
  • Listened to my questions. Vary patient with answering and explaining. Asked me if I had more questions or needed any resources.
  • I am responding after only one appointment with this doctor, so my answers should be considered with a grain of salt. But, it was a wonderful appointment.
  • Dr. was thorough and very clear.
  • Thoroughly explained everything.
