As an otolaryngologist-head and neck surgeon, I focus on many areas, including cochlear implantation for hearing, chronic ear disease and skull base surgery.

The doctor was very clear and professional. Really knew what he was talking about.
The resident and the attending both took their time, listened to my concerns and symptoms, and paid attention ... And also, their recommended treatment worked within a day, after I had been weaving through unsuccessful treatments and poor access with an outside facility for 6 weeks. It was a real gift, and I'm grateful that this will be my care team through what has been a difficult medical journey.
Care provider made an extra effort to see not just the isolated issue, but to tie it into my whole health history. He provided extra reading material about the condition that has been extremely helpful. He also made me feel heard and reassured that should anything change, I would not hesitate to get in touch sooner than the next scheduled appointment. Truly excellent care.

I was very impressed by Dr. Kurien's clarity in explaining his opinion on what he was seeing on MRI images. He didn't hesitate to show me the images and to explain things both verbally and visually. He gave his clear opinion of what he believes the condition(s) to be and immediately ordered another scan that will give more definitive answers. I left his office feeling confident of the outcomes and eventual diagnosis.
