About Me
I've been practicing medicine in Vermont for 28 years. In addition to treating adults and children from Vermont and New York's North Country, I also travel to developing countries to perform surgeries on children with congenital anomalies, which I prefer to call birth differences.
My father, Donald R. Laub, Sr., inspired me. He was a plastic surgeon and a professor at Stanford University who traveled the world with multidisciplinary medical teams to perform reconstructive surgeries on children with cranial and facial differences.
He participated in over 150 overseas trips, occasionally bringing me along. I started by observing him as a student and eventually progressed to operating as a surgeon myself.
Plastic surgery is a collaborative process. When patients come to me for plastic surgery, hand surgery, cleft palate treatment or transgender surgery, I enjoy working with them to find solutions to their problems.
