About Me

Following my initial training in internal medicine, I worked as a hospitalist before transitioning to primary care. I specialize in the comprehensive care of chronic diseases and the overall health of adult patients. The most rewarding aspect of my work is building meaningful relationships with my patients.

My transition to primary care stemmed from my desire to help patients maintain their quality of life while living with chronic medical conditions through a combination of nutrition, lifestyle adjustments, counseling and medications, when necessary. I believe in shared decision-making and empowering patients to take ownership of their health.

I encourage open and honest discussions about socioeconomic and psychosocial challenges that may hinder patients' ability to improve their conditions, with the goal of finding practical solutions. I also emphasize the importance of addressing mental health alongside physical health, as both are crucial to overall wellbeing.

I help patients with chronic medical conditions through a combination of nutrition, lifestyle adjustments, counseling and medications, when necessary.
