About Me

I was inspired to pursue a career as a nurse practitioner to help increase access to quality care. Through my own experiences, as well as those of family members and friends, I saw how difficult it can be to access health care at times. I recognized an opportunity to help meet that need and haven’t looked back. My goal is to do everything I can to provide the best possible care to those in need.

The most rewarding part of medicine for me is helping patients feel seen and heard. I believe that building a trusting relationship is essential to providing quality, long‑term care.

I am particularly passionate about mental health care. One experience that shaped my approach involved a patient who disclosed active suicidality during a visit for an unrelated concern. By following my instincts, listening closely and asking direct questions, we were able to connect him with mental health resources the same day. This reinforced the importance of not making assumptions based solely on a chief complaint and of staying flexible and attentive to what matters most in each visit.

Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, paddling and gardening. I was also recently SCUBA certified and love diving.

I believe that building a trusting relationship is essential to providing quality, long‑term care.
