Volunteer at the UVM Medical Center

Volunteer placement is currently limited. We are accepting and processing volunteer applications on a case-by-case basis.

Welcome to the UVM Medical Center and thanks for your interest in joining our Volunteer Services Department.

We encourage the teamwork of employees and volunteers in order to offer our patients the best service possible. Volunteers contribute unique talents and skills infused with direct knowledge of our community. The personal touch that volunteers provide to our patients, families, visitors and staff is an essential part of the caregiving process.

You must be at least 17 years old to volunteer, and be able to commit to 3-4 hours on a consistently weekly basis for a period of at least 6 months.
